Spirit Connection and the Hymn to the Silence Ensemble
Based on the ancient poem 'Dissolution', this soundscape meditation is created as a landscape of sound, which, just as life, is constantly changing. It will help you relax your body and mind and to get close to your own being.
Harry van Dalen, our good friend and advisor from the High End audio shop 'Rhapsody' in Hilversum, has next to his expertise in audiophile audio equipment also a passion for gongs and crystal singing bowls. He has done extensive research into the power of sound. He believes sound is able to bring physical, emotional, and mental, relaxation.
After a trip to the Himalaya Mountains he and Gwen de Jong started Spirit Connection, a company specialized in the spiritual power of sound. The Hymn to the Silence Ensemble came to existence in order to further explore the possibilities of sound as a healing factor. Harry asked Frans de Rond to be the architect of sound in the ensemble by creating live soundscapes complementing the sound of the gongs.

This sound meditation is created as a landscape of sound encouraging 360 degrees of open listening.
Don’t focus, just listen and experience what the soundscape does.
First witness, then let yourself dissolve in the totality of the soundscape.
